The 2009 Angel Festival is now closed

Bank-holiday weekend 2-4 May 2009

After seeing the Angel Festival on television, people came from as far as Birmingham and Tyneside to see a city full of angels.

The church was busier even than last year, with hundreds coming in to see the schools' angels and enjoy a cuppa or lunch with us.

There was a fantastic community feel as people flocked into town to join in, and to see the angelic displays and to follow the angel trail. Individuals, villages, families, shops, schools and businesses of Ripon all got involved.

Are you artistic? If you are - great. If not, you really don't need to be! There's so much you can do with a 2D or 3D angel - so get cracking. Where will you put yours?
